During Your Stay
- After admission, you will be brought back into Preop where the nurse will do a health assessment and prepare you for your procedure; at this time your family member/loved one will remain in the waiting room. They are more than welcome to stay in the waiting area
- Your OR Nurse that will be with you in your procedure will come by and discuss with you the steps that will be taken when you get into the OR room
- You Anesthesiologists will come to the bed side to their assessment and answer any last minute anesthesia questions you may have for them
- Your Surgeon will also come by to the bedside to do markings and discuss your procedure with you again
- Once your OR team is ready for you, you will be wheeled back to the Operating Room.
- You will be wheeled into the Recovery Room (PACU) once your procedure has ended
